I believe different releases (-stable and -dev) have different quality
levels as far as (each of) IPv6 and multicast are concerned.

Danny should have better information than I do.

We are waiting for the IPv6/multicasting issues to be resolved before
releasing 4.2.1.

Any help we can get in this area is appreciated.
